Urantia University Institute offers a variety of free, self-paced study courses for new and experienced readers of the Urantia Book. Grief & Transitions Ministry
Grief & Transitions Ministry is a two-part workshop developed by a team of UUI mental health professionals to help everyday people navigate life's most difficult passages. Drawing on both clinical research and the teachings of the Urantia Book, the course explores the stages and tasks of grief, the importance of finding new meaning after loss, and how transitions — however painful — can become doorways to deeper faith, wisdom, and growth. Participants learn that there is no "right" way to grieve, and that the process, while deeply personal, is one that can ultimately lead to renewed purpose and stronger relationships.
Grief is not the end of the story. Through loss, we can discover deeper meaning, renewed faith, and a greater capacity to love — and this course shows you how.
Jesusonian Loving Service
Our personal interactions can be elevated to
the level of loving service when we practice
in the manner that Jesus did—with faith in God
and in others, and selflessly as a unified
balanced personality. Service might be done
out of duty, but it is enhanced by a sincere
intention to have empathy, patience, tolerance,
forgiveness, and to affirm “It is my will that
God’s will be done.” When we strive to love
and serve as Jesus did there is a sense of joy
and peace that truly passes understanding.
This course begins at the foundation—one’s attitude toward self—and then brings students around to a study of Jesus’ unified and
balanced personality before taking a look at the example that Jesus set for the most effective loving service to others. Along the way, students will practice intentionally following Jesus’ example. There will be exercises that bring about greater personality balance and opportunities for practicing loving service in everyday life.
This course is designed to be taken slowly. It does not just teach the theory of loving service but provides opportunities for the real-life application of what is taught. Improving how one serves does not happen overnight. Throughout the course, there are recommended places to pause the lesson and practice integrating loving service so that you can more fully embrace this holistic approach.
New Reader Course
Urantia University Institute (UUI) developed the New Reader Course, in cooperation with the Urantia Book Fellowship Education Committee, to help fledgling readers of the Urantia Book explore the vast body of knowledge contained within its 2,097 pages.
The 10-week live course is available to take at least once per year, but now is also available to use in Study Groups or to share with fellow truthseekers anytime.

Morality & Ethics: Making Choices that Matter
The significance of morality and moral decision-making is consistently threaded throughout the Urantia Book. As participants in this Fifth Epochal Revelation, we hope and pray to make the world a better place by the time of our departure. We know the primary effort in doing this is by improving ourselves, having meaningful loving relationships, being positive social examples, and being dutiful to the Supreme Being by bearing the fruits of the spirit.
Self-Mastery and Circle Attainment
This course is designed to refresh and renew the spiritual aspirations of Urantia Book readers who have by faith, entered the kingdom of God and therein set for themselves the achievement of the fullness of mortal life. Here, we will strive to address the enhancement of personal spiritual perception and the influence of such growth on daily life while sharing our spiritual life with others and recognizing the religious life of others.
We know of the Father’s wish for each of us to share in his Paradise perfection, and that our path begins on here on Urantia with the “successive attainment and traversal (mastery) of the seven cosmic
circles."
Our Mother God: Knowing Her, Loving Her, Sharing Her
This course seeks to expand our understanding of the reality of our Mother God as a personal presence in our lives through her circuit of the Holy Spirit, the adjutant mind spirits, her seraphic daughters who guard and guide us all the way to Paradise, and in the very life of our body and every breath we take each moment.
