Over 1100 UUI Cafes Offered

The UUI Cafe was created in March 2020 as a response to  disruption to everyday living, devastation to the economy, and human casualties caused by the coronavirus. But what began as an emergency call to action has become a community of the spirit, with over 1100 Cafes having taken place to date. The UUI Cafe is a place where truthseekers can get together in supportive and Spirit-affirming discussions based on the spiritual truths of the Urantia Book. The Café is open at different times each day (Monday through Friday) to accommodate our friends living in different time zones. By providing this daily opportunity to grow in spiritual awareness, friendship, and loving ministry to others, we are helping our community establish everyday spiritual living habits. Participants have shared that the act of listening, sharing, and worshipful problem-solving provide fortitude to face the challenges of everyday living. 

Many people in our community have found the UUI cafe to be a productive forum for the exchange of ideas.  As Jim Downs puts it, "UUI Cafes are a healthy way to connect with like-minded old and new readers of the Urantia book. New folks can feel comfortable asking questions, sharing the history of their spiritual life, making comments on how they are moving forward in doing the Father's will."
