Mark Wood was introduced to The Urantia Book about 30 years ago and immediately recognized it as the closest thing to truth he was likely to encounter in his lifetime. This conviction has only deepened with time. After retiring as a newspaper editor and later working as a project manager for a non‑profit organization, he has chosen to devote his remaining years to pursuing the high values and beneficent global vision inspired by this extraordinary book. Maltese by birth, Mark is the editor of Urantia Messenger, The Urantia Book Fellowship’s weekly newsletter. He has facilitated courses for the Urantia Book International School, briefly served as UBIS English course coordinator, and is part of a team developing Spiritual Living Support Groups based on the book’s teachings. He regards his associate trusteeship with UUI as another valuable opportunity to be of service.
